Glad I could be of help to you pal. :)

I'm really looking forward to my matton FB knife, and Britt's mission, as unless you see and handle a hand made, you don't realize the differences in quality, and thats just first hand physical perception. :)

Just taken a pic of the First Blood knife display with a flash, I'm still not happy with the quality of the pic due to the reflection of the light on the perspex, but it shows the Rock and leaves that I got from hope. :-)

Once I get my Matton FB knife, i think I will put it into this display, and for the UC knife, I'm leaning to wards an upright display in a case (the same type of cases that Ive ordered for my keepsakes which were featured in the movie) and having the UC knife stuck upright in a piece of wooden sleeper, like it was at the junkyard, when Rambo puts on the tarp. Stay tuned. The cases are being made as we speak, and I should hopefully get them within the next week or so. :)

Sorry to bump this thread up again guys, but thought some of you would like to hear that I am amending the Rambo 4 display, as I have ordered (thanks to Rich AKA Feezle) :-) similar material to Rambo's blue headband, which when I receive it, will be incorporated into the display. I have also ordered a dummy Russian grenade, the same type as the one Rambo stops from going off inside the mine field in Rambo 3, so I am attaching it to a piece of rusty metal, and will be attaching a piece of trip wire like in the movie. I was going to add two to make it screen accurate, but alas, there is no room. Stay tuned guys, and I will post pics once the two displays have been amended. :)

As you can see with the dummy grenade, I just have to paint it khaki to make it screen accurate, so I have bought some airfix paint to do the job.

The distressed, lefty FB sheaths looks bl**dy awesome, Reegs. It looks likes it feels at home between Hope's fern and leaves. ;)

The Rambo III display will look even better with the addition of the grenade. It would be nice to have the Hibben survival knife for this display, what do you reckon, mate? :)

Klaus, the fern is fake, and probably made in Taiwan lol Your right, the hollow handle Hibben Rambo 3 would look so awesome, maybe one day if I save my pennies, I will be able to own such a great knife. :)

Your feedback is very much appreciated, so thanks for taking the time to comment buddy. :) I just want you guys to do the same with yours! I may come across as showing off, but thats not me at all, as I just want you guys to get motivated and have a go at creating an exhibit in your home that you made with your own fair hands. Its not that hard to be fair, it can cost a little, but you guys can do as i did, which was do a bit at a time, until you are happy with what you have. Like I said buddy, the pictures don't do the displays any justice at all, as they look a lot better in the flesh. Can you remember my original post regarding the plain Rambo 3 display in the red felt case, and I asked my buddy Klaus and my good friend Linda Hibben if i should leave it as it is, or try out something new, they both said try something new, which i did, and although they are in no means professional standard, they are the fruit of my labor, and I love em to bits. So guys, all you need is a little imagination, you don't even need to make a overhead case, just find a hardboard base, two newspapers, and some PVA glue, and sand or soil, and make yourselves a display, its that easy! and so what if your first attempt doesn't pan out, do it again, I promise you will have these in pride of place in your rooms to show off your replica or if you have em original Rambo knives. :)
